VOIP Phone and PBX/PABX System Installation and Configuration
VOIP Phone:
A VoIP phone uses voice over IP (VoIP) technologies allowing telephone calls to be made over an IP network such as the Internet or LAN instead of the ordinary PSTN system. VoIP phones can be simple software-based soft phones or purpose-built hardware devices that appear much like an ordinary telephone or a cordless phone.
The common features of VOIP phones are:
- Caller ID
- Dialing using name/ID (differs from speed dial in that no number is stored on the client)
- Locally stored and network-based directories
- Conference and multiparty call
- Call park
- Call transfer and call hold
PBX/PABX Systems:
PBX stands for Private Branch Exchange, PBX is also referred to as PABX-Private Automatic Branch Exchange and EPABX-Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange, which is a private telephone network used within a company. The users of the PBX phone system share a number of outside lines for making external phone calls. A PBX connects the internal telephones within a business and also connects them to the public switched telephone network (PSTN).
We do VOIP phones and PBX systems of a various brands including, CISCO, AVAYA, NEC etc (for VOIP phone system) and Panasonic, NEC etc (for PBX Systems).
